Season 24 of Rocket League just launched on September 23rd, bringing new collabs, cars, and features to the game.
The Persona 5 collab runs from September 25th to October 12th, with free and paid rewards to unlock.
Season 24 sees the introduction of three new cars and plenty of cosmetic upgrades.

Rocket League has never been shy about pushing the boundaries. After all, this game literally combines soccer with flying cars. Now, Season 24 is finally here, and it’s bringing more chaos to the pitch than we’ve ever seen before.
The launch happened a few days ago, on September 23rd, so everything is just sitting there waiting to be explored. Three new cars, fresh game features like Honor Duels, and of course, a Persona 5 collaboration running until October 12th. Not sure where to start? This post dishes out the important details you need to know.
Listen up, anime fans: Season 24 brings with it a collaboration between Persona 5 and Rocket League. A stack of Persona 5-themed rewards can be unlocked for free by completing challenges between September 25th and October 12th.
From the current list of goodies, we’re most excited about the Trickstar (P5R) Wheels. These are rims styled in the Phantom Thieves’ style in Persona 5 Royal. But other popular free rewards include Joker’s Topper, a roof accessory shaped like Joker's iconic white-and-red mask, and Morgana’s Token Trail.
And free challenge rewards are just one part of the collab. The item shop is expected to launch the Mona Car bundle for 2,800 V-Bucks. This anime-inspired package will include:
Your garage is about to get some serious upgrades. The new Rocket Pass introduces three new cars: the Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 50 (Octane hitbox), the Dominus GT 76 (Dominus hitbox), and the Pareto 5S (Breakout hitbox).
Honestly, we’d probably rank the cars in that exact order right now. But the season is only just beginning, so who knows how the meta will shift in the coming months.
Unsurprisingly, the new Rocket Pass will also bring a truckload of cosmetic upgrades. The Forewarned Holographic wheels already look like an obvious standout from the Pass, but other additions include the Synapse Boost, Vector Decal, Treadsparks Trail, and Anipop Goal Explosion.
Probably the biggest new feature in Season 24 is Honor Duels. During a Rocket League match, you can now challenge another player to a 1v1. If they accept, you finish the current match first. Then, the challenger and defender jump into a duel, while the other players can spectate. The player who comes out on top will no doubt have the biggest bragging rights.
The link between Honor Duels and competitive esports is glaringly obvious. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out in various matches, as we know how personally gamers take this game.
The three new cars bring new avenues for gamers to explore in the competitive scene too. But it might be too soon to say for certain how they’ll impact the meta. That’s why following esports news in the coming weeks will be important. Meanwhile, the new Rocket Pass items will certainly give players more ways to customize their look on the big stage.
One thing we haven’t mentioned yet is Rocket League's move toward a club-based esports structure. The new RLCS Club Championship is at the center of this, bringing 24 teams together in London to compete for a share of $2.5 million this December (9th-13th).
Rocket League is a true one-of-one game, but that isn’t the only reason it’s popular. Every season we see new collaborations, cars, cosmetics, and mechanics added to keep things fresh. Well, Season 24 might be the best yet, bringing with it a Persona 5 collab, three new cars, an Honor Duels feature, and a refresh of the esports structure.
