Roster swaps are not a new thing when it comes to traditional sports, but this is also true for eSports like CSGO. Alongside the transfers, rumors also take their spot in the discussions all around the scene, and one of them – regarding Fallen’s transfer to Furia – has been under the spotlight for the past few weeks. But what’s new on this topic? Let us find out…
As we covered in last week's article, Gabriel “Fallen” Toledo showed some interest in playing for Furia alongside “Art”, “Yuurih”, and “KSCERATO” sometime in the future – but it might happen sooner than expected.
It’s all still rumors, but Furia’s decision to part ways with Rafael "saffee" Costa and André "drop" Abreu might be what feeds what everyone is expecting – Fallen taking one of their spot and, consequently, leaving Imperial.
While Rafael "saffee" Costa and André "drop" Abreu had a very good start with Furia back when they were added to the roster, their performances were not very consistent throughout the seasons. Not to say that they were bombing the team, but they sure weren’t playing as well as they could.
For example, “saffee” ended up scoring a rating of 1.04 during his time with the roster, with that number going ever lower when the stats take into account just the biggest tournaments played by him. So, while he still had good appearances, his overall showing was just not cutting it from Furia’s point of view.
When it comes to “saffee”, we were not able to find any sources pointing to a team that is actively hunting for him. On the other hand, “drop” is being sought after by MIBR – which, by coincidence or not, has benched Henrique "HEN1" Teles. So, taking into account what we have so far, it is very likely that we may see “drop” playing with “insani”, “brnz4n”, “exit”, and “Tuurtle” in the near future.
Despite all that’s been said here, we can’t stress enough the fact that these are only rumors,so anything can happen from now on. And while we're at it, we’ll keep posting every detail and rumor surrounding the CSGO scene so that you, CSGO fan, can be the first one to know when something changes in the industry, so be sure to check with us in the near future!
