Epic Games has recently released its new Fortnite shoes: Nike Air Jordans. Due to some technical issues, the launch was slightly delayed but they have now arrived and we have everything you need to know.
Fortnite Kicks are a type of cosmetic you can buy to add to your character, just like skins. You can purchase them from as little as 600 V-Bucks, making them available to as many players as possible. If you still have some burning questions, stick with us as we reveal all, from availability to cost.
If you’re not familiar with what Kicks are, they are Fortnite shoes for your skins to wear. Just as with skins or emotes, Kicks are designed to make your character stand out. You can find a variety of different shoes available including collaborations with major brands such as Nike, and original designs by Epic Games. The first batch of Kicks was rolled out in the item shop across November 21 and 22 and they are now available to purchase, with the cheapest pairs costing 600 V-Bucks.

If you enjoy playing Fortnite and getting involved in Fortnite betting sites, you would have heard all about the latest Kicks release. If you’re intrigued, there are a couple of ways you can get your own pair of shoes, which we will go through next.
To get a pair of Nike Air Jordans in the black, white, and red colors, you must have a Remix Battle Pass. This pass costs 950 V-Bucks and once you have purchased it, you will need to complete the Week Zero and Week One Quests to activate the shoes. If you are looking for a cheaper way of getting your hands on a pair of Kicks, and you plan on purchasing a Battle Pass anyway, this is the perfect option.
If you want a different colour, or don’t want a Battle Pass, you can simply purchase your Kicks directly from the item shop instead. Here’s an overview of the types of Kicks available and when they were released:

The question on everyone’s lips is whether or not you can wear your brand new Kicks with any skin. Well, unfortunately, you can’t as not all skins are compatible. But there is some good news - Epic Games has told us that they will eventually be compatible with at least 500 of the most popular Fortnite skins in the near future.
Furthermore, Epic Games said they are “working hard” to ensure that Kicks will be compatible with 95% of Fortnite skins by Spring 2025. So, if they aren’t compatible with your favorite skins right now, there isn’t too long to wait.
As you can see, the much-anticipated launch of Kicks on Fortnite has finally happened, with many already available in the item shop, or included as a part of the Remix Pass. With the latter you get one free pair of Kicks included, while the item shop lets you pick a custom pair at a cost.
But don’t worry, Kicks are relatively cheap (compared to skins) and can cost as little as 600 V-Bucks, depending on which pair you want. The most expensive pair come in at 1,000 V-Bucks, which isn’t too drastic if you have your eye on a specific pair. Roll on Spring 2025 we say, when your brand new Kicks will be compatible with 95% of Fortnite skins.
The great news is, the wait is officially over! The first Kicks launch happened on November 21, 2024, which means they are now available to purchase in the item shop, or as part of the Remix Pass.
Yes, you get to pick a custom color for your Kicks, but only when you purchase them in the item shop. If you get them as part of the Remix Pass, you are limited to black, white, or red currently.
Epic Games has confirmed that Kicks will be compatible with 95% of all Fortnite skins by Spring 2025. So, you don’t have too long left to wait if they don’t match with your favorite Fortnite skins just yet.
