What are Fortnite Medallions?

In Fortnite, Medallions are special items introduced in Chapter 5: Season 1. They are obtained by defeating specific bosses across the map. How to get the Godzilla Medallion Fortnite?

To obtain the Godzilla Medallion you will need to be the player who deals the most damage to Godzilla during any Fortnite Battle Royale match. However, for this to happen a Hollow Earth Rift Gate must spawn, which only has a 20% chance of appearing in each game. This portal will be marked on the minimap and allows any player to transform into the Godzilla boss.

However, since you will need to deal damage to Godzilla, you mustn't use this portal. Instead, wait for another player to use it, then follow these steps:

Locate Godzilla on the map.
Start dealing damage to Godzilla.
Aim for its weak points and prioritize using a Rail Gun for maximum damage.
Track your progress using the bar at the top of your screen.

Remember, the Godzilla boss can also attack you directly during the fight, so avoid standing in the open where it can easily find you. Additionally, the Rail Gun can be found the same as any other weapon or item in the game - by collecting ground loot, looting chests, or supply drops. It is worth searching for a Rail Gun if you have time, as it provides the best damage and you could be competing against other players to receive the Medallion.
