If you’ve played Fortnite at all in Chapter 6, you know it’s not just about builds and dancing on rooftops anymore. Fortnite cars are a huge part of the experience now, especially with the rollout of branded and custom car skins.
I’ve been a Fortnite fan since the OG days (back when everyone wore default skins and nobody knew how to crank a 90), so trust me when I say the vehicle game has never been this diverse, or this fun. Let’s break down every drivable car and vehicle skin in Fortnite Chapter 6 that’s been confirmed in-game.

Let’s take a look at the three core vehicles you’ll be able to find in Fortnite Chapter 6.
| 🚘 Car name | 💡 Good for… |
|---|---|
| The Whiplash | Fast speed movement around roads |
| Mudflap | Durability and driving through buildings |
| Bear | Off-road specialist |
If you live for high-speed escapes, the Whiplash is still the king of roads. Think slick Fortnite sports car, low suspension, and ridiculous top speed… but it's pretty awful off-road.
The Chapter 6 Whiplash skins have gotten a facelift. You can now find:

Big rig energy. The Mudflap has been around for a while now, but Chapter 6 makes it feel even more like a battering ram on wheels. I drove one through a squad's build fight last week, and it was chaos in the best way.
You’ll see:

The Bear is like the off-road cousin of the Whiplash. It’s still a car, but it eats up rough terrain much better.

This was unexpected when it was dropped on Fortnite betting sites, and it's still wild to see in Chapter 6. The Rocket League Octane and Cyclone are full-on drivable, boostable, wall-jumping mayhem machines.
If you haven’t tried this one yet, stop reading and queue into a match, seriously.

A newer addition to Fortnite from Rocket League’s crossover universe. It’s smoother than the Octane and easier to control mid-air.

So here’s the big headline for Chapter 6. Vehicle skins are now more than just wraps. We’ve got actual unlockable or collab-based skins that change the vehicle models themselves:
This thing dropped with the Chapter 6 Battle Pass, and it looks like something out of Borderlands. Rusty and post-apocalyptic.

Yeah, they made a Peely car in Fornite. It’s ridiculous, and I kinda love it.

So far I’ve only seen these in Creative and select Battle Royale matches. They’re electric-style cars with bright trims and angular body shapes.

Since we’re talking all things drivable, It would be rude not to shout out:
Still here in Chapter 6 and still great for solos or quick rotations. There's a new dirt bike variant that handles better on slopes and is easier to control on keyboard and mouse.

Not officially in core modes yet, but I’ve seen teasers and Creative maps with these floating vehicles. They might be coming soon via mid-season update or LTM.

One of the coolest updates in Chapter 6 is how vehicle mods now feel integrated into the loot pool.
You can equip:
We had a Bear modded out with off-road tires and the new Nitro Boost, and used it to rotate early into a good zone just outside the Mega Storm Circle. Two other teams started fighting nearby, and rather than jumping into a messy build battle, we made a split-second decision to drive straight through it. With the Cow Catcher on the front, we barreled through the chaos, disrupted both squads, and even knocked a couple of players out of position. We didn’t have to fire a single shot, just used smart positioning, timing, and a fully-kitted vehicle to control the fight.
Moments like that really show how vehicles in Chapter 6 aren’t just about getting from point A to point B, they’re all part of the strategy now.
Chapter 6 really stepped up the vehicle game. It's not just about driving anymore, it's about style, strategy, and building an identity while cruising across the map. Between the new custom skins, Fortnite crossover cars, and mods, vehicles feel way more personalized and integrated than ever before. If I had to pick one, I’m still biased toward the Rocket League Octane, but I’ve been switching it up now more than ever.
