On October 24th, the spotlight was on the Grand Finals of the ESL Challenger Atlanta 2023 South America Closed Qualifier. Imperial and BESTIA locked horns, each aiming to clinch the slot for the ESL Challenger Atlanta 2023 available to the winner. This time around, BESTIA got the upper hand in a clean 2x0 series – which we’ll review below.
The first map, Anubis, was Imperial's pick. The map ended 13-11 in BESTIA's favor. Despite the early 8-4 lead in the first half, BESTIA managed an even better T side and was able to close down the map.

Shifting the arena to Inferno, BESTIA's chosen ground, the dynamics were visibly different. Imperial, once more, showcased their dominance in the early stages, leading 9-3 in the first half. But BESTIA, adapting and re-strategizing, pulled off another impressive comeback to seal the map 13-11.

While both teams showcased remarkable skill and strategy, BESTIA's cohesive gameplay, with luchov at the forefront, overshadowed the exceptional individual performance from felps of Imperial. This Grand Finals matchup was an excellent showcase of South American CS:GO talent, which only got us more excited for the main event in Atlanta.
