If you’re a big fan of Fortnite collaborations, you may have heard rumors about a Demon Slayer Fortnite collab coming soon. Demon Slayer started as a manga series that made it onto TV.

Is Demon Slayer coming to Fortnite?
At the time of writing, this is still a rumor, with nothing to confirm the theory one way or another. However, Chapter 6 Season 1 of Fortnite, which began on December 1, 2024, carries the title Hunters, and it has a theme which delves into many areas of Japanese culture. Since Demon Slayer hails from Japan, this would be a sensible collab that would work well within this themed chapter and season. Indeed, judging by the amount of information I’ve found on this topic - which is still just a rumor at present - I think a Fortnite Demon Slayer crossover would be well received by players.
Fortnite has been going since 2017 and quickly became one of the most popular multiplayer games of all time. There’s certainly plenty of scope to appreciate some collaborations between Fortnite and other pop culture TV shows, movies, and characters. In which case, Demon Slayer could soon be added to that list. The collaborations are selected to appeal to as many players as possible, and given that so many people enjoy manga, the addition of Demon Slayer makes perfect sense.
What does a Fortnite collaboration involve?
No doubt you’re familiar with the idea of a collaboration between two parties. It’s a common theme in the world of entertainment, and it has certainly enjoyed great success in the past. Fortnite is available across multiple gaming platforms, offering various elements that can be purchased using the in-game currency, known as V-Bucks. So, while there could be a Demon Slayer Fortnite skin available if the rumors do prove to be true, there could potentially be other items available for purchase as well. Cosmetics are readily available from Fortnite, and there are lots of them to note. For example, you might purchase some harvesting tools to help you dig up items or cut down trees. You can even use them as weapons, since they look like pickaxes.
For something more unusual, you can check out some emotes too. These are ways in which your character can move - so perhaps an emote for Demon Slayer could be an attack move to take down a demon? There’s certainly a lot of potential for this collaboration to produce some inspired cosmetics and skins for Fortnite fans to look forward to. Tanjiro Kamado is the main character in Demon Slayer, so you’d expect this skin to crop up in the game if the rumors prove true.

As I compiled this article, I checked around for further news, but at present, it remains a strong rumor. The suggestion of a collaboration between Demon Slayer and the famous game does come from reputable sources who have previously shared hints that have turned out to be true, so it sounds promising. I’ll update you as more information comes in. That said, the Japanese theme seen in the latest Fortnite release does hint at the possibility of getting a matching collaboration to enjoy.
