In the ranking mode you will find that there are seven different rankings that you can aspire to reach. These include:
Within the rankings of Rookie, Veteran, Elite and Pro there are five levels that must be passed through to reach the next. You will see these written as Rookie I, or Pro V.

The reason why ranked gameplay is so good is because it incentivises climbing the ranks. Not only is there prestige in being a high ranking, you also get better rewards as you climb higher. At Rookie I, you are only able to play Team Deathmatch. But, as you rank up, you can unlock Search and Destroy, Domination and Hardpoint as other options.
You’re also able to unlock new characters, weapon skins and loads of other gear each time you increase your ranking.
Incidentally, each time that you achieve a new ranking, you won’t immediately be given the new items in your inventory. You will need to redeem your prizes from your inbox.
There are some extra ways to add a few more XP to your tally. These include the Multi-Select Bonus, the Daily First Win Bonus and the Clan Bonus.
Also, don’t forget to use a Shield Card when you are close to being promoted. This feature protects you from having points deducted, so it’s good to use it at the critical moment just when you are near promotion.
A Rank reset, as the name implies, is a full reset for every player which takes place at the end of each season. The amount that you are degraded relates to how you performed in the previous season.
I know you may be thinking that this sounds annoying, but the best part about the ranking system is the way that it constantly pushes you to climb higher, and be consistent, so you can always play for better rewards.
CoD Mobile is also popular as an esport, where large competitions are held that you can wager on! You’ll find Call of Duty betting odds at many of the top sportsbooks. Keep a lookout for the Call of Duty League Championship weekend, which is being played in Texas this year.
So there you have it, everything you need to know about Call of Duty rankings and beyond. With seven different ranks and 23 levels, you’ll always have something to work towards. And who knows, if you become a Legend, you might just be taking part in one of next year’s big CoD tournaments.
