Live Call of Duty Tournaments are Back in March 2022 with the 1st Major

As the qualifiers come to a close, let’s get into a preview of this year's Call of Duty Major 2022

The Call of Duty Major 2022 is one of the biggest CoD tournaments of the year. The league system is commonly used across most major US gaming tournaments, a round-robin format where teams in a bracket compete for opportunities in the playoffs.

Each Major will consist of four weeks, with the first three weeks being a ‘qualifier’ for the final week. The final week will see the top eight teams compete for the winner of that Major. OpTic Texas will be hosting the first Call of Duty Major 2022, starting on March 3rd.

The 2022 edition of this CoD tournament is the first to host the game with Call of Duty Vanguard. The 2021 season used Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, and 2020 used Modern Warfare.

Some of the best teams will be playing in this Call of Duty Major 2022.

The top eight teams that qualified for this Major are Atlanta FaZe, Boston Breach, Florida Mutineers, London Royal Ravens, Los Angeles Guerrillas, Los Angeles Thieves, Minnesota Rokkr, New York Subliners, OpTic Texas, Paris Legion, Seattle Surge and Toronto Ultra.

Looking at this Call of Duty Major 2022, we believe without a doubt that Atlanta FaZe is the overall favorite to take the crown here.

It also helps that someone like CoD Hall of Famer Rambo is the head coach for the side. We truly do believe the next few times OpTic Texas clashes heads with Atlanta FaZe in the Call of Duty Major 2022, it’s a game that can go either way.

The qualifiers for the first Call of Duty Major 2022 just recently came to an end and came with some interesting results.

On Sunday, a series of Final qualifiers took place between some of the best teams, and the results came as no surprise to many CoD tournament fans. OpTic Texas cleaned out Boston Breach in dominant fashion, beating the Boston side 3-1.
