BLAST Premier Tournament - Fall Groups 2022 are Starting Soon

This year, the BLAST CS:GO fall tournament 2022 will be back with a major boom! Twelve top CS:GO teams from all around the world will compete for a prize pool of $177,498.

The tournament kicks off on August 19th and concludes on August 28th. So, today, let’s take a look at the participating teams and give our betting advice. We'll speak about some of the strongest teams and also mention some underdogs. Stay tuned for more information as the event draws closer!

Brief intro about the tournament

BLAST Premier is a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. In that light, this tournament will be divided into three stages, the Group Stage, the Play-in Stage, and the Last Chance Stage. Twelve teams will be divided into 3 groups and will compete in a double-elimination bracket. All teams from each group will advance to the Play-in Stage and therefore continue this tournament. In the Play-in Stage, teams will be seeded accordingly and continue with the battle in Bo3 matches.

Next, there will be three single elimination gauntlets where teams will have to earn their spot for the Fall Finals. In that light, the winner will go to the Fall Finals while 2nd and 3rd positioned teams will have to battle out in the Last Chance Stage. The 4th positioned team will go directly to the Fall Showdown tournament. As for the Last Chance stage, matches will be played in a single-elimination format with Bo3 games. This means that there will be 3 pairs where winners will advance further into Fall Finals and the losers will go to the Fall Showdown.

Strongest teams in the tournament

Considering the fact that this tournament is rich with awesome teams, it's hard to decide exactly who's the best. However, we can't exclude Navi and FaZe Clan. These two teams are definitely contenders for the first position. As you probably already know, NaVi is a CIS-based CS:GO team. They are widely known as one of the best teams in the world and have many titles to their name. This team has high potential and always strives to be the best. We’d recommend picking your favorite bookie and bet on them if you feel like they can take it.

On the other hand, we have FaZe Clan which is an international esports organization based in Europe. This team is also one of the best in the world and has a lot of achievements. They always show up at tournaments ready to give their best performance. Other than these two, we can't forget about G2 Esports and Evil Geniuses. G2 Esports is a solid esports organization that has made its mark in the CS:GO world. They always manage to surprise their opponents and always fight until the end. As for EG, they are an iconic North American esports org that has been around for a long time. This team has produced some of the best players in the scene and always gives its best at tournaments.

Possibly one of the most underappreciated teams in the CS:GO scene is Team Vitality.  Fans will know this French team always puts up a good fight. They have proved their worth many times and always manage to make it far in tournaments.

Another team that definitely deserves more recognition is Complexity Gaming. This North American team has already made some great achievements. Despite that, they are still considered underdogs by many. If you're looking for a team to spend your bonus funds on, these two are definitely worth your attention!

Besides them, there are also other teams that are worth mentioning, but unfortunately, they're not as strong as the ones we've already talked about. Some of these teams are NIP, OG, and Team Liquid.
