If you’re a CSGO fan that follows the competitive scene, you probably know that some of the best teams in the world are facing each other to become the new Blast Champion.

CSGO tournament

With the tournament coming to a close in a few days, some teams have been kicked out and, those who remain, have a chance for the title. Here, we’ll talk a bit about the teams going to the BLAST Premier Fall Finals and what we can expect from them based on their performances so far.

Qualified Teams

Faze

Almost boasting a clean sweep during the Group Stage, Faze made it through to the Finals by beating OG (2x0) in the Opening Round. Going to the Upper Final, Faze ended up losing to Liquid (2x1) and was sent to the Consolidation Final. There, Faze destroyed G2 – a victory that moved them to the Group Final. To close the Group Stage, they had a rematch against Liquid, where Faze won by 2x0 despite all odds.

Heroic

Unlike Faze, Cadian’s Heroic did manage to get a clean sweep during the Group Stage – at least in terms of series since they lost a map to Navi in the Group Finals. The Danish team made it past BIG (2x0), Navi (2x0), and Navi again (2x1), securing their spot in the Finals.

Ninjas in Pyjamas

Out of the three teams that made it through so far, NIP had the hardest time getting through the Group Stage. Right from the get-go, they were beaten by Complexity, a result that led them to the Lower Final right away. From here, they had to beat EG (2x0), and Complexity again (2x1) in order to get to the Group Final. There, despite all adversities, the Ninjas dominated Vitality with a 2x0 to secure their spot in the Finals.

Who else?

Happening now is the Single Elimination Bracket, where the losers from the Group Stage have the chance to make it through to the Finals. At the moment, the teams are Liquid, Astralis, Navi, EG, G2, BIG and Vitality. Who will make it through? Well, we’ll know exactly that this Saturday, so keep an eye out for those matches!
