Apex Legends Global Series 2022 – Championship is starting

After the Split 2 Playoffs phase is over, everyone is preparing for the Global Series 2022 Championship. And, if we learned anything from the last year, this is going to be a bloodbath.

Brief intro about the event

1.   Group Stage

This tournament will start with the group stage on July 7th. As we already know, 40 teams are split into four groups where they will play against each other in a 6-game series. Every team will advance to the bracket stage according to the place they got in the group stage.

So, after the group stage is over, the top 10 teams with the best score will go directly into the winner bracket round 2. The next 20 teams will go to the winner bracket round 1, while the ten lowest positioned teams will go to the losers bracket round 1.

1.   Bracket Stage

After the group stage is over, teams will be seeded accordingly in a loser and winner bracket, where they will battle for a place in the finals. This stage will begin on July 8th and end on July 9th. Now, the bracket stage is similar to the group stage because it has eight-game series between teams. After the dust settles, the top 10 teams in winner bracket round 1 will advance to the finals. Those who are not in the top 10 here, will go into the losers bracket in round 1.

As for the losers bracket, the top 10 teams will advance to the second round of this bracket while other teams will be eliminated. Furthermore, teams in the loser bracket round 2 will battle out, and the top 10 teams will advance to the finals.

1.   Finals

Lastly, we will have a chance to bet in the finals stage of this tournament on the 20 teams that remained. So, teams will have to gather as many final points here as possible.
