In Tentlan’s gameplay, your path as the ruler of the ancient Mayan kingdom starts in a small settlement in the heart of the rainforest, where lush vegetation opens up to a white limestone city. The once glorious empire now lies in ruin: the golden statue venerated by the population has disappeared, the emperor has died, and the kingdom has crumbled into separate factions. Now, the population awaits the next mighty leader who will reunite the kingdom, restore prosperity, and make civilization flourish once again.
To get started, the game will provide you with a “Tentlan guide” in the form of a tutorial, which is completed when your score reaches approximately 780 points. At that point, to become governor of the empire you will have to unite people and earn their trust, showing them your strategic skills and fulfilling complex tasks, such as mining new resources, providing food for the peasants, defending them against external threats and constructing new buildings.
